“Why is it essential to discover your ‘Why,’ establish your team’s purpose, and align it with your company’s mission to create a great sales culture?” This is the foundation of my leadership course, although my own ‘Why’ was not always clear to me.
Raised as the only daughter among four brothers, my parents set equal expectations for education, competitiveness, and success for all of us without any gender-biased assumptions.
However, entering the corporate world, I faced a significant contrast; being a woman often came with prejudiced assumptions of reduced capabilities and expectations of a “softer” behavior.
These experiences and a journey along both healthy and toxic environments inspired my purpose: to empower sales leaders, especially women, with the knowledge that better ways exist.
Understanding this deeper motivation is essential for fostering motivated sales teams. I employ peer-to-peer coaching among sales leaders to aid this discovery during my sessions, a powerful exercise that helps unearth your Why.
